Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

Filling in the gaps…

The production notes are online for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic #38 — and also for Star Wars: Vector Vol. 1. And in so doing, I discovered there weren’t notes yet for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Vol. 4 — so those are there, now, too. Not much to say — there weren’t many corrections in these later volumes. Whittling away, but writing is not leaving …

Things go bump in the dark!

Yep, it’s Halloween in February, in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic #38, going on sale Wednesday — with a spooky haunted ship and more surprises. Cool artwork by my friend Dean Zachary, with whom I’ll be appearing next month at Midsouthcon at Memphis — as well as Star Wars: Legacy‘s John Ostrander. It’s a different kind of issue — putting me in the mind a little of that …

Lego! Lego my comic books!

A few updates on the site: • The notes for Knights of the Old Republic #37 are online, including a stranger look behind the curtain than usual, this time involving my son’s Lego set. See for yourself how the creative process really works. (Well, there is such a thing as Lego Star Wars….) • There are pages for Knights of the Old Republic #40 and for the next trade paperback, …

KOTOR #37: Tall, green, and scaly!

Inaugurating a new thread on this Inauguration Day: Everyone’s favorite Trandoshan (he’s not much of a pilot, but you should try his Belgian waffles) Slyssk gets a turn in the spotlight in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic #37, which makes its debut on shelves this week. I’m not certain whether it’s Wednesday or Thursday, given the holiday schedule this week — but I would assume some portion of …

Vector Interview double-feature on CBR

I had actually forgotten to look for this, we did it so long ago… …but Comic Book Resources has a two-part Vector exit interview with Randy Stradley, John Ostrander, Jan Duursema, and myself. Part II is here. They were waiting to get it online until after everyone had had a chance to read Legacy #31. (Which I finally did… look for a certain KOTOR cameo!)

Knights of the Old Republic #37 on MTV!

MTV.com, actually — where its Splash Page feature spotlights next week’s Knights of the Old Republic #37 — with an eight-page preview! There’s also an article by editor extraordinaire Dave Marshall about the series. I’ve been informed the issue is confirmed on the schedule for this Wednesday, so the rest of the story shouldn’t be long in coming…

Happy new notes

Travel concluded, I’ve finally posted some thoughts on Knights of the Old Republic #36. Enjoy! Happy new year to all. Resolution #2009-247 was to blog more, but I am alerted that this was also Resolution #2008-132 in the previous session. Well, it was good enough for last year!

More SithFire action figure coolness: Demagol

On my old site, I had posted some of Sith_Fire30‘s home-brew action figures from the KOTOR series: Here’s the latest, the demonic Doctor Demagol from Knights of the Old Republic #8. Check out the rest of the images over on the Dark Horse thread for this figure!

Holiday greetings from Knights of the Old Republic #36…

…a comic book you can find this Christmas Eve at your local comic book store. Zayne and company are off to new challenges in the Coreworlds in our latest issue, part 1 of “Prophet Motive.” It’ll be a few days before I can get any notes online about the issue — I’m out of position and don’t have the issue myself yet. But coming at this time of the year …
