There are dream jobs, and then there are jobs you never dreamed you could ask for. This was one: the first of two original novels directly tying into Tim Burton‘s two Batman movies. Little did I know it was was a project I’d begun training for 35 years earlier when the movie came out!
The novel’s launch event was at Barnes and Noble in Appleton, Wis., on release day — and I got on the plane the next day to do signings all week at New York Comic Con. A book tour of the Chicago area followed.
